“[A]rticles of merchandise that are used in marketing and communication
programs. These items are usually imprinted with a company's name,
logo or slogan, and given away at trade shows, conferences, and as
part of guerilla marketing campaigns. These items are also referred
to by the slang terms swag or schwag (probably from
the British usage of the word meaning "stolen goods" or "loot")….”

An
important part of the BaliHa’i “project” is to see these watches
actively used, and not just bartered as collector curiosities on the
various dive forums. How do we achieve that, you ask?
Well, it’s up to you, our patrons. But we’ll certainly do what
we can to encourage it, and to that end, we are pleased to announce
the launch of the BH Swag program.
Send us your pictures of you and the watch in
the elements… dive, fly, bungee, parachute, or whatever it is that
keeps you kicking. We’ll post the pics on the website, let the
masses grade them, then root through the BH vaults (or root around
under a conch shell, more likely), and send the best pics some BH
swag. What swag? Dunno, maybe an extra buckle or a
strap, a coconut or some clams… we’ve got some ideas… but the hard
part is up to you! Show us how good life on the BaliHa’i can
be!
